Roderick Tomiczek

Toronto native Roderick Tomiczek has cultivated a diverse culinary journey through renowned kitchens influenced by a blend of global flavours. He began his career apprenticing under celebrated Canadian chefs before moving to London, England, where he was mentored under Michelin-starred legends such as chef Marcus Wareing and Heston Blumenthal. Upon returning to Canada, he fine-tuned his artistry at Langdon Hall with Jason Bangerter. Attracted by Chef Ron McKinlay’s expertise and reputation, Roderick now brings his talents to the esteemed kitchen of Canoe in his current role as Chef de Cuisine. Canoe is ranked as eighth on a list of Canada’s top 100 restaurants!
